The University of Bradford (English: University of Bradford, English abbreviation UoB, Chinese abbreviation “Buda”), or translated into Bradford University, Bradford University, Braford University, is located in West York, North of England County of Bradford (Bradford). The university received the Royal Charter in 1966, making it the 40th university in the UK, but its origins can be traced back to the early 19th century. The department has a world-class reputation as an outstanding center for international relations, security research, conflict resolution, and development and peace research. The University of Bradford is also the first university outside of London to offer a half-time degree program.
